Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be met by our representative and transferred to Arusha for your overnight stay. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore Arusha’s vibrant clock tower area or visit a local coffee plantation. Dinner will be served at your accommodation as you prepare for the start of your safari adventure the following morning.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up for the drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. You will spend the day traversing the park’s diverse landscape, which shifts from seasonal swamps to savanna, following the Tarangire River in search of lions, leopards, and giraffes. After a picnic lunch surrounded by wildlife, you will exit the park in the late afternoon and drive through the scenic Mto wa Mbu area, ascending the Great Rift Valley wall to reach the lush highlands of Karatu for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha

Following an early breakfast to beat the crowds, you will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage site is home to over 25,000 large animals, offering your best chance to see the endangered black rhino alongside prides of lions and large buffalo herds. You will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor near the hippo pool before beginning your ascent. In the afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha, arriving in time for your evening transfer to the airport or your preferred drop-off point, marking the end of your safari.
